Our gym is the epitome of tough love in a safe space. Our signature program – Women’s Muay Thai is for individuals who are looking to get fit, destress, improve their body composition, all while learning something new. You’ll get to learn some cool Muay Thai techniques, experience elements of strength training, as you train alongside other like-minded women.

PERSONAL TRAINING

Gym anxiety is real and can be rather daunting, especially for women who are looking to regain confidence and create new lifestyle habits. We understand how it feels to be nervous about starting something new with no experience, especially for those of you who haven’t worked out for awhile. With private training, you can be assured that personalized guidance and tailored training is offered to you. Sessions are done in 45 mins / 60 mins blocks, perfect for the busy corporate woman.

CORPORATE WELLNESS

Through Corporate Wellness, companies can cultivate a healthier, happier, and more productive workforce. This benefits both the individual employees and the organization. We’re able to organize team workouts to promote camaraderie and stronger relationships amongst departments, fostering a sense of unity and teamwork which leads to better relationships between individuals in your company. Sessions can be done at your workplace, or in our gym.

one of the best things i've done for myself was to sign up with Van Lee Fitness for their Muay Thai lessons!a place that is so welcoming and supportive of you regardless of any stage you are in in life, and does their best to ensure that everyone meets their personal goals as well as learn new things every single weeki would have never expected combat lessons to be so fun and so rewarding, and to be surrounded by a whole lot of ladies who are all very inviting and kind and so so friendly, each one of us having had our excellent experiences here wanting to share the goodness with all the newcomersyou will not regret signing up for classes here, even if it's just the trial lessons, that i'm sure of!not to mention that it's all ladies only and safe for hijabis to train with or without your hijab, in any way shape or form you're comfortable inwould recommend this to anyone out there reading this and wondering "how good can this place be?" , it's the best !!!
I was a complete noob when I first started with VLF a year ago. As a complete beginner, I was very nervous, but Van was a sweetheart, incredibly patient, encouraging, and detail-oriented. She broke down the techniques clearly and always made sure I had the right posture. She ensures everyone goes at their own pace while still providing an intense, sweaty workout.I’ve seen a lot of improvements in my endurance, stamina and techniques since I started training with VLF. The community here is positive and non-judgemental. Highly recommend to any ladies wanting to try muay thai in a safe, supportive and motivating space! Beware, this space is highly addictive!
One year later and still showing up.. says a lot cuz i usually dont stick to a gym this long 😂weekly classes are like therapy. Everytime i leave, i feel like a brand new person; mentally refreshed and somehow stronger than before.Van is an amazing coach and sooo patient. Once you walk through these doors, you’ll never walk out the same person again—in the best way! Hahaha!This is an all-women, safe space where you can truly come as you are. You’ll learn, challenge yourself, stay motivated, and experience just the right amount of breathlessness, lots of "eish, eish, eish," and an amazing adrenaline rush. It’s a place where you can vent, laugh, and grow all at the same time. Every class is different, with different people, but somehow we’re all the same kind of crazy—and that’s what makes it so much fun.Van is incredibly patient when teaching Muay Thai techniques and adapts to your pace. She’ll encourage you to keep going, push you to finish strong, and guide you every step of the way. As cliché as it sounds, she genuinely won’t give up on you—and that’s a great thing. I joined Van Lee Fitness in Oct 2025. I have known about this gym for quite sometime as I have friends who used to train with Van back then. I wanted to try but have always felt intimidated by MT. Fast fwd a decade later, I made a new friend who has been a regular for around 5 years. She assured me that training MT is fun and not "violent". Seeing how I need to get physically strong for my kids and to slow down sarcopenia, I decided to just go for it and honestly, no regrets at all!As trainers, Van and her team are all gentle yet firm. They are very understanding of our needs and will always recommend alternatives for anyone who experiences difficulties for certain exercises. But that does not mean they won't push us out from our comfort bubble! 😁 As Van always reminds us, always listen to your body!Van and team also always encourage us to get to know one another. I have never sat in a place full of girls/women who never ever gossip or make fun about others. Everyone at VLF is respectful, encouraging, friendly, funny, and smile at each other. 100% positive vibe, 0% judgement. Truly the epitome of women's empowerment.I highly recommend ladies, esp those above 30, to train at VLF. Ngl ladies, once we're in our 30s, our metabolism just progressively decline. I chanced upon this gym almost two years ago as I wanted to learn Muay Thai, and joining has been one of the best decisions I’ve made.Van is an amazing coach – patient, encouraging and genuinely invested in helping everyone improve, regardless of experience. She knows how to push you to be better while making every session enjoyable.What really makes this place special is the community that Van has built. Everyone is welcoming, supportive and always cheering one another on. It never feels intimidating, and it’s the kind of environment that makes you want to keep showing up, even on days when you’re feeling tired.Almost two years on, I’m still looking forward to every class and have learnt so much. I started with Vanlee fitness when I was around 24 because I wanted to try Muay Thai. I was just a beginner and I was really shy. Thankfully, I came across vanlee fitness and the gym being an all female gym, it was so comfortable to learn at my own pace.Van was also very helpful and friendly in welcoming everyone that tries out. She never pushed for people to sign up for packages and continue but pushed people to just try their best and challenge themselves in the gym. She was open to everyone giving it a shot and she never made me feel any pressure that I have to continue signing up with the gym.That was the seller for me. So i continued and tried to go as often. But I stopped for a while due to time clash and life happened.Fast forward to me being 34 and I’m back in Vanlee fitness. I’m ever so grateful to be back in the gym because it still gives the same comfort back then.Although comfortable, each muay thai session always have me fighting for my breath (in a good way) and leaving me superrrrr satisfied. Like all my stress for the week is gone because I was able to physically release the stress while also making myself fitter.Each week I realise i get stronger in vanlee fitness. Each week she teaches us new things. Fixes our stance. Helps us challenge and grow more.The best part about this gym is the community and van herself. The fact that she remembered me even when I wasn’t actively going for Muay Thai for many years is the kind of coach you want to be training with. The kind of coach that is sincerely interested in only your wellbeing and growth.So if anyone wants to join Muay Thai and be in an all female gym, you should definitely definitely definitely come to Vanlee fitness. The gym is conveniently located near Chinatown MRT, making it super easy to get to whether I’m coming from work or home by public transport.Van is knowledgeable, encouraging, and always making sure we’re pushing ourselves with proper form. I've been training at Van Lee Fitness for nearly 2mths now and I highly recommend it. Van (the trainer) is incredibly knowledgeable and friendly but will push you to be your best. She is very patient with beginners, breaking down the fundamentals of footwork, guarding and basic combinations. Classes are usually small enough that you can actually get individual attention. I’ve always wanted to try combat sports, but as a hijabi, I found most gyms to be male-dominated. Joined the gym in 2015 and was active on and off all these years. Beyond the group circuits, padworks, and drills, Van has created a community of strong-minded women that not only work out to empower themselves but also empower others. The workouts are in groups and are meant to be challenging but you build upon your own strengths and weaknesses, and you learn from others as well as share what you learn to others as well. The place is always clean, with toilet and shower amenities if you need them, and a prayer room. Highly recommend this place to ladies who want to try working out in groups, or who just want to go back to working out, or who just wants to try Muay Thai. VLF is more than a gym, it's a healthy destressor for some, a safe haven for some but always a welcoming community to all.

Can't recommend VLF enough. Been with Van since 2016, and Van welcomed me back so warmly when I had a break in between. Van is an AMAZING coach and genuine & easy to talk to. I'm always in awe of how attentive Van is to every single one of us during sessions. She remembers all our names & tailors her advise & coaching to us based on our individual needs. Have been attending Van's class for almost 3 months plus. From doing PT with her to joining the group classes. She is attentive to your training needs and limits. I use to get back pains easily and she has thought stretches which i can easily do at home too. Her group classes are well planned to keep your heart rate up. Environment are safe you won't feel pressured by others. Everybody encourages each other through the class and keeps each other motivated which you seldom find in other gyms. Definitely recommended to join Van Lee Fitness if you are looking for a all female no pressure by others and well planned curriculum muay thai gym. 👍👍👍

A place that I've been coming to for 6+ years now. No matter how my day went, a session at Van Lee's always makes me grateful that I pushed myself to show up. No matter whether I performed at peak or was not up to par that day (by my own standards), I still come out feeling good. Because that is the sort of safe space Van has cultivated for all of us, both mentally and physically.Of course you burn somewhat during the class and get sore after but it is worth it! Even in a class with full capacity, you will still get more than enough attention and guidance to work on your form and technique, not only from Van herself but from any of the other women who are there. Van Lee Fitness is the only gym I keep coming back to and the only gym that has helped me lose my weight, regain my mental strength and all the ladies in the gym are the most supportive and will push you to better health.Van’s classes are very well put together to make you BURN but in a good steady way. I tried Muay Thai few years ago and didn’t make it past the warm up session. But with Van Lee Fitness, I managed to have a balanced but sufficiently challenging warm up and exercises. I learnt Muay Thai moves within the first lesson and even though it’s a class, she will personally give you advice and push you past your limits. My classmates so far are super friendly, patient and helpful and I think the overall class vibes is very beginner friendly and positive.

I started in 2022 - told myself I should start working out. I gained more than just a workout regime. You're surrounded with so much positivity that you can't help but feel loved and empowered to just be better and healthier versions of yourself. Despite only being here for less than a year, I have had so much good memory with Van and everyone else in the gym. No matter which level you are on in terms of muay thai or fitness in general, you will always feel welcomed and supported by the coach and your peers during every class. The diversity and inclusiveness in the gym are simply amazing.Training-wise, the pace of the classes is good and the activities are never dull. There is always a chance to challenge yourself or take a break, so you are never forced in any way and would be in control of your own body all the time.TLDR: Great Muay Thai gym and I enjoyed every bit of my time here. I really enjoy the muaythai classes here as my techniques are frequently corrected and adjusted so I see a lot of improvement over time. The classes are well paced and different each time around. I also love how I get to meet different and new people in the gym!
I started at VLF in 2015/2016 ish. I wanted to find a gym place that caters to women only, since im wearing a hijab. One of my memorable experience was her first session during Ramadhan. Van was very mindful to curate the training that centers around a body that fasted the whole day. And the community that attended the trainings are always supportive.My point here is VLF is not only a platform to empower women but also an inclusive avenue for all walks of life to come together to be themselves. And Van, the amazing trainer, who is always attentive to the needs of everyone, at every training. So you will always leave your session feeling strong and wholesome.💜
Amazing and inclusive gym with so much warmth radiating from it! I decided to frequent this gym because Van is a trainer who pushes and encourages you, yet is sensitive to everyone’s needs and energies. Her classes definitely break a sweat but make you feel de-stressed and accomplished. I always walk out feeling more confident in myself than when I step in 😂 I also like how Van doesn’t engage in weight-focused motivation, which is something I had a tough time trying to find in a gym. It really made a difference for me as I used to approach exercise in an unhealthy way, and wanted to slowly improve my fitness again in a safe environment. The lessons can be challenging but I feel motivated to do my best every session because of the positive vibes. Hands down, the BEST choice I’ve made to train at VLF. I always look forward to walking through the door and leaving the gym feeling amazing.Im still a newbie who is afraid of being unable to follow through. But Van is never sick and tired of teaching me and tolerating my antics until today. Although she pushed us beyond our limit, that's only because she knew we could do it.This gym is a massive booster for confidence, self-esteem and self-love. Definitely a safe space for everyone.And the kampung spirit in VLF, is alive! I love it here. Thank you Van ❤️

My first gym experience and I did not regret choosing VLF. Love that it is an all women environment and the pace is really suitable for first timers who have not done Muay Thai. The fun sweat sesh leaves me begging for more and my 1 month initial commitment turn into 6 months and still going. Van is also very supportive and truly understands our fitness level thus it makes it easy to adapt to her fitness programme. Highly recommended!
Van is a awesome and experienced instructor. I really enjoy each muay thai session despite being dead tired (enough for a random stranger to ask me if I'm ok 🤣).If you're a girl and stressed out about working out in mixed spaces, give VLF a try! It's an all female gym. Honestly, I've never met a more supportive and friendly community. You might start out going there just to exercise but you'll stay for the vibes. 100/10 highly recommend.

Love love loveeee training here with Van! She takes into consideration many factors when she planned the daily training for us. There's always something different during every session. Makes me look forward to every training. Been training for four months and never regretted my decision since Day 1. So glad I made that brave choice to start my year with boxing! Thanks Van for building this Muay Thai community for ladies only. The location is also conveniently located near Chinatown station and it's a 5 min walk away. I join the sea of positive reviews for VLF - it has delivered its promise of empowering women - from the strong and confident kicks and punches executed by the trainees, to the positivity, inclusion and encouragement extended towards one another. Happy to be a part of this growing all-women community. I thoroughly enjoy each training session, when my aching muscles inform exactly which have been worked and conditioned, and am always looking forward to the next.
Been with VLF a little over 6 months now and I must say I really enjoy training here. There is a structured curriculum, the community is extremely supportive, and Van is really meticulous in making the classes fun yet pushing us to do better each time. Would strongly recommend this gym!😎

Van is a great trainer and her sessions are well thought out and planned. She always has something different up her sleeves to make sure that you get that workout you need. A wonderful place for women to gather and sweat it out together. No judgement and loads of empowerment. The sessions are addictive; making you want to go back for more. If you’re looking for an all women’s gym that prioritises empowerment, this is the gym for you. Van takes the effort to remember every single one of her client by name and ensures her gym is a safe space for all. The community she builds is what made me stay. Her program is also well designed to suit different levels. She would also take the time to give personal feedback to us and is patient in making sure we get the right techniques.
I genuinely love Van Lee Fitness for the amazing Muay Thai classes but also the atmosphere of a safe space which lets you push, improve confidence and strength while feeling amazing after each class. I have tried other gyms and didn’t get the same vibe, but this truly empowers you along with other women. I tried both group classes and 1:1 sessions with Van and she’s just the best coach always focusing to cater to your needs and progress. 100% recommend this place for anyone seeking to start Muay Thai or get a great workout which is fun. I started with Van Lee Fitness as a complete newbie whose only exercise was the occasional run after the bus. Joined the class with my friends to get us in shape and have some form of physical activity together. Well, I surprised myself, three years later that we are still going strong!Van is a super patient trainer, especially for someone like me who has two-left feet. She gives specific feedback and guidance to learners in correcting their techniques. Classes are well-planned to cater to the profile of her learners and she regularly switches things up to keep things fun. To me Van Lee Fitness isn't just a gym, it feels like home. The VLF family is warm and friendly and as much as we heave and swear together during the workout, I always leave the gym feeling good about myself. Thank you VLF!

I've always enjoyed coming to classes & I look forward every week. The trainers are so motivating and encouraging, giving us the push that we all need. The trainings increased my stamina & strength, at the same time losing body fat % ! The gym provides a safe environment for us women - no judgement, no competition.
Very welcoming environment with really great instructors! Classes are well-structured and varied, there will never be 2 classes which are the same. Always being pushed to our max during classes; will defo recommend if you want to get fitter and have fun at the same time 😄
I’ve been with VLF since Feb 2019 and it’s been 2 years since 🙂 Van and her fellow trainers will push you out of your comfort zone. But I’m certainly not just strong physically but mentally as well. Can’t imagine not having my weekly workout sesh with Van, it’s part of my self-care. Blessed to have chanced upon VLF 2 years ago, and never turning back! 🙂
It's my first time doing Muay Thai and I was initially a little worried about being unable to follow through but Van was very patient in teaching me the correct form and techniques. Lessons are also fun and enjoyable, and there's always something new so it's not repetitive. While the training may be challenging, everyone pushes themselves to do their best in class and it motivates me to work harder as well. I truly look forward to my sessions with her!

I remember the first time I came to VLF. You know how intimidating joining a new gym or fitness class can be? This is the complete opposite! It feels just like coming home, with the smell of chamomile essential oils wafting in the air and a very warm welcome from Van and the other members of the gym. As an all women's gym, Van has created an inclusive and safe space for us to grow stronger - both physically and mentally. The community here is amazing! We get to meet people from diverse backgrounds and everyone is super supportive and motivating (we thank each other for a great workout after every class)! Van and her trainers plan the classes really well to ensure both beginners and regulars (or even expecting mummies) get a good workout which consists of conditioning, endurance and sharpening of techniques. Classes are never repetitive! I'd recommend it to anyone looking to start their fitness journey or to explore the world of Muay Thai with a supportive community in a cohesive, safe and happy place!

Van is an awesome trainer, I always end up leaving class feeling more energised than I came. She's attentive at correcting our form and knows how far to push us while being super encouraging. The gym's clean and I really like the essential oils wafting around in the background too. Have only been here for a month or so, but I love the class environment! Defo inspiring space 🙂
I'm a newbie to Muay Thai and my journey with Van has been really encouraging. Van is a dedicated and sharp teacher who puts in effort to teach you proper skills + techniques and correct your form. Her class sizes are kept small and despite the differing fitness levels that the women have, Van always looks out for you and will give you the specific guidance you need to improve. Prior to VLF, I was rather intimidated by fitness groups but Van is encouraging and never makes you feel like you are lesser than. She affirms you and stretches you to challenge yourself individually as well. Of course, for those looking for a safe space to get a good workout in without any pressure/ distractions from a mixed gym, this is the place to be. I've been with VLF for about a year now- and I see myself continuing; because VLF has empowered me to believe more in myself and my body. I'm always reminded that there is so much more that I'm capable of fitness-wise! Thank you VLF! <3
Profession trainers. Fun and comfortable place to be in as its all women environment. If you need to sweat, see no where, here is the place! Nobody will judge you or look at you when you are exercising because everyone is busy sweating! :p Reasonable price and package! No high price or high commitment where you need to pay thousands to commit at one shot.
Enjoyed every session of Muay Thai led by Van herself. She is patient in showing the techniques and is very professional to know your potential in the work outs. Highly recommend this gym!
Been here for over two years now and it's been awesome. In every class, I've met (and befriended!) amazing, diverse women and the gym's ever-friendly trainers. The gym serves as an inclusive, safe space for many of its members, and its empowering ethos shines through its culture and operations. Van switches up the routines and pacing of classes every week, so it never feels dull. Classes are also mindfully-designed so regardless of fitness level, both beginners and regulars get an intensive, but totally accomplishable workout. During this covid period, special precautions are implemented so everyone enjoys classes while staying safe. VLF's personally made me stronger both physically and mentally, and I'd recommend it to anyone looking pick up new skills and get a rigorous workout amidst a supportive community!
Hands down my favourite gym. The fellow members are inspiring and the instructors give hands on instant feedback and adjustments during the training. They know how to push you to the limit in the best way possible with your workouts. 10/10 would recommend!!!!!!
The first time I came to VLF, I was warmly welcomed by the owner and head coach Vanessa Lee. She taught us the proper basic moves and every week, it will be a different workout programme which consists of conditioning, endurance and techniques.The community is AMAZING coz everyone is so supportive, kind and motivates each other. Vanessa and her trainers also make sure you got the techniques right and of course, made you kick 'thousand times' on the bags or pads that you swear you will not be coming back the following week, but you still do. Hahahaha...I still come weekly 😊 And.....Vanessa remembers ALL her members' names! 😲😍🥰Such a wonderful gym to train and I'm pretty sure you will be back for more (just like me 😆)
